There were celebrations at The Pollokshaws Royal Arch Lodge No.153 on Tuesday, 28th February, when Almoner, Bro. George Smith, was presented with his 70th year Diploma and Jewel.

A large turn-out of Brethren was in attendance to see the presentation carried out by RWPGM Bro. Ronald E. Fraser along with the RWM of The Pollokshaws Royal Arch Lodge, Bro. Drew Calderwood.

The PGM congratulated Bro. George on his achievement and thanked him warmly for his work over the years for his Lodge, the Province and the Craft in general.

Following the ceremony an excellent MM Degree was carried out by Lodge Thistle & Crown No. 1167 headed by RWM Bro. John S. Miller.
